Digital Marketing Agency for IVF Clinics

Growthbees is a digital marketing agency for IVF and fertility clinics, with offices in Guwahati and Tezpur, Assam. We help clinics reach couples researching fertility treatment through Google search campaigns on treatment intent, local SEO, patient education content approved by fertility specialists, and private, consent-based enquiry handling on WhatsApp and web forms. Our method is built around Indian law and platform policy: we never advertise or target anything connected to sex selection, which the PC&PNDT Act and the ART (Regulation) Act 2021 prohibit, we make no unsubstantiated success-rate claims, and we follow Google and Meta rules on health advertising.

The problem

Why IVF marketing needs a different approach

  1. A long, private decision

Fertility treatment is one of the longest and most private decisions a family makes. A couple may read about IVF for months, speak to relatives, compare clinics in Guwahati, Kolkata and further away, and worry about cost and outcomes long before they send a single enquiry. Many don't want anyone, including family members who share a phone, to see that they are looking. An IVF clinic's marketing has to work across that long, careful journey, and it has to respect that privacy at every step.

  2. Some of the strictest advertising law in India

The advertising environment is also unusually strict. Section 22 of the PC&PNDT Act bans advertising, including on the internet, about pre-natal sex determination or pre-conception sex selection. Section 32 of the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021 bars ART clinics and banks, and their agents, from advertising sex-selective ART in any form. The penalties in the ART Act include imprisonment. A marketing agency that loosely adds keywords or copies a competitor's ads can pull a clinic into serious legal trouble.

  3. Google and Meta add their own limits

On top of the law, the platforms add their own limits. Google treats reproductive health as a sensitive category and doesn't allow ads to be personalised on it, so remarketing to people who visited a fertility page isn't allowed. Meta allows ads for family planning services such as IVF clinics, but requires age targeting of 18 and over for reproductive health, and rejects ads that imply they know the viewer is struggling to conceive.

  4. Couples are sceptical of success rates

Finally, there is a credibility problem across the sector. Success-rate numbers get quoted without the age group, the treatment cycle or the time period they refer to. Under the ASCI code a claim must be substantiated, and couples are increasingly sceptical of figures that sound too good. Clinics that explain their process honestly stand out.

What's included

What's included

Seven parts, each built for privacy and compliance.

Google search campaigns built around what couples actually search for: IVF, IUI, ICSI, fertility specialist consultations, egg freezing and fertility testing, combined with your city and nearby districts. Ads describe the service, the clinic's location and how to book a first consultation. Every campaign carries a permanent negative keyword list that blocks sex-selection and gender-related search terms, and we re-check search term reports so new variants are caught. Campaigns target by location and search intent only. We don't use audience lists built from fertility interest, because Google's personalised advertising policy prohibits it.

On Facebook and Instagram we promote clinic information sessions, first-consultation availability and patient education content. Targeting is set to 18 and over, as Meta requires for reproductive health. Copy is neutral and informational, for example "Fertility consultations at our Guwahati clinic, Monday to Saturday", and never addresses the viewer as someone with a fertility problem.

A complete, accurate Google Business Profile for each clinic location: correct categories, services, consultation hours and photos of the facility (never of patients). Location pages on your website for each city you serve. We ask patients for reviews carefully and without incentives, and never pressure couples during treatment.

Couples need clear, calm information about treatments, tests, timelines, risks and what the first consultation involves. We plan a content library of website articles, short videos and FAQs, written with and approved by your fertility specialists, so couples who research for months keep finding your clinic's answers. Anyone presenting health information on camera has their qualification shown at the start, in line with ASCI's 2023 guidelines for health content.

  • WhatsApp enquiry routing to a dedicated clinic number, with discreet reply templates your team approves
  • Web forms that ask only for what your coordinator needs to call back, with a clear purpose statement and an unticked consent checkbox, as the DPDP Rules notified in November 2025 require
  • Call tracking by channel, so you know which campaigns produce consultations without exposing patient details in marketing reports

Factual profile pages for your fertility specialists and embryologists: qualifications, registration details, areas of practice and consultation days. Clinic pages set out the facilities, the ART registration details your clinic is required to hold, and how the consultation process works.

A monthly report covering enquiries by channel, cost per enquiry, first-consultation bookings where your team shares them, and search-term compliance checks.

Patient education

Content for every stage of the fertility journey

Couples rarely move from a first search to a first consultation in one step. We plan content for each stage, so your clinic is useful long before anyone books.

  1. Early questions

People start with basic questions: what IVF and IUI involve, how they differ, when to see a fertility specialist, and which tests usually come first. Short articles and explainer videos, written with your specialists, answer these in plain language.

  2. Comparing clinics

Once couples are shortlisting, they look for things they can check: your specialists' qualifications, your clinic's registration under the ART Act, the laboratory and facilities, and how costs are structured. We build clinic and doctor pages that make these easy to find, and explain what a treatment cycle usually includes without publishing figures you haven't approved.

  3. Getting ready for a first consultation

A page on what to bring, what the first visit involves and how long it takes lowers anxiety and helps couples arrive prepared. We link it from ads and from WhatsApp replies.

  4. During treatment

Most communication at this stage belongs to your clinical team, not marketing. We keep promotional messages away from patients in treatment, and only help with practical information, such as directions, parking and timings, where you ask us to.

  5. Couples from outside the city

For families travelling from other districts or states, we create pages explaining how many visits a typical treatment involves, what can be done by video consultation, and where to stay nearby.

Every piece goes through your specialist's approval and our checks against the list below.

How we work

How we work: the SOCIAL process

  1. 01 Strategy

We review your services, capacity, registration status and current enquiry sources, and agree which treatments and locations to focus on.

  2. 02 Optimise

We set up tracking, the negative keyword list, consent-based forms, WhatsApp routing and your Google Business Profile before any spend.

  3. 03 Create

We write ads, pages and educational content. Your fertility specialist approves every clinical statement, and we check each item against the refusal list above.

  4. 04 Interact

We moderate comments and messages within agreed hours, remove any public comment that discloses a person's health details, and pass clinical questions to your coordinator.

  5. 05 Analyse

We review enquiries, cost per enquiry and search term reports, and pause anything that attracts non-compliant searches.

  6. 06 Listen

We turn the questions couples ask your coordinators into new educational content.

Where we work

Where couples travel from

Couples in the Northeast often weigh a clinic in Guwahati against travelling to Kolkata, Delhi or Bengaluru for treatment. A Guwahati clinic's marketing therefore needs to reach couples across Assam and in Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, and to answer the practical questions that decide whether they travel further: how many visits treatment needs, where to stay, and what can happen by video consultation. We work from our Guwahati office on KK Bhatta Road, Chenikuthi, and our Tezpur office at Gharpara Chuburi, and we take on fertility clinics elsewhere in India.

8 questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Can IVF clinics advertise on Google and Facebook in India?

Yes, IVF and fertility clinics can advertise their services, but within strict limits. Indian law prohibits any advertising connected to sex selection, under the PC&PNDT Act and the ART (Regulation) Act 2021. Google doesn't allow ads to be personalised on reproductive health, and Meta requires reproductive health ads to target people aged 18 and over and not imply anything about the viewer's health. Growthbees builds IVF campaigns on treatment-intent search, neutral copy and location targeting within these rules.

Can we publish our IVF success rates in ads?

Only if the figure can be substantiated. The ASCI code requires evidence for advertising claims, so a success rate needs its method, the patient age group, the treatment type and the period it covers. Growthbees doesn't publish success-rate figures unless your clinic provides that detail and your legal adviser approves the wording. Many clinics find that explaining their process clearly builds more trust than a percentage.

Which keywords do you block for IVF clinic campaigns?

Every IVF campaign we run carries a permanent negative keyword list covering sex selection, gender preference and related terms, because advertising connected to sex selection is prohibited in India. We also review search term reports regularly to catch new variations, and we check ad text, landing pages and social posts against the same list.

How do you protect patient privacy in fertility enquiries?

We route WhatsApp enquiries to a dedicated clinic number with discreet reply templates, keep web forms short with a clear purpose statement and consent checkbox, and never use patient images or stories without explicit written consent. Marketing reports show enquiry counts by channel, not patient details.

Can you promote egg freezing and fertility testing?

Yes. Egg freezing, fertility assessments and first consultations can be promoted with factual information about what the service involves and how to book. We avoid outcome promises, and your fertility specialist approves the clinical wording. We don't run donor recruitment campaigns, as gamete donation is regulated under the ART Act through ART banks.

Do you work with fertility clinics outside Assam?

Yes. Growthbees has offices in Guwahati and Tezpur and works with clinics across the Northeast and elsewhere in India. For clinics outside Assam, we plan and report remotely and meet on video.

How much does IVF clinic marketing cost with Growthbees?

We work on a monthly retainer quoted in writing after a consultation. The fee depends on the number of locations, the treatments you promote, the channels used and the volume of educational content. We don't publish a standard rate card.

How long does it take to get IVF enquiries from digital marketing?

Search campaigns can produce enquiries once ads are approved and tracking is set up, but fertility decisions take time, so many couples who find your clinic this month will contact you later. Local SEO and educational content build steadily over several months. We agree review points at the start and judge progress on real enquiries and first consultations.
