Google search campaigns built around what students and parents search for during admissions: course names, "B.Com college in Guwahati", "nursing institute near me", "hotel management course in Assam", combined with the districts your students come from. Ads state the course, affiliation, eligibility and how to apply. Campaigns are timed to your admission calendar rather than running flat all year.

Digital Marketing Agency for Educational Institutions
Growthbees is a digital marketing agency for educational institutions, with offices in Guwahati and Tezpur, Assam. We help colleges, professional and vocational institutes, schools and coaching centres generate admission enquiries through Google search campaigns, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp advertising, social media content, local SEO and websites with clear course and admission pages. Our education clients include Delhi Public School Tezpur, Apex Professional Academy, Edufy and St. Peter's School. Campaigns follow ASCI's guidelines for educational advertising and the 2024 CCPA rules for coaching, so we never promise ranks, placements or guaranteed admissions.

The problem
Where education marketing goes wrong
01Calendar
Admissions have a rhythm generic marketing ignores
Admissions have a rhythm that generic marketing ignores. For a college or professional institute, enquiries cluster around board results and entrance exam timetables; for a school, around the months before the academic session starts; for a coaching centre, around batch launches. An agency that runs the same monthly social media calendar all year spends money when families aren't deciding, and falls silent when they are.
02Two audiences
Students click, parents decide
The audience is split, too. For a college course, a student may start the search on Instagram and YouTube, but a parent often makes the final decision after asking relatives, checking the institution's Google reviews and calling to ask about fees, hostels and safety. Marketing that only speaks to one of them loses the other.
03Leaving Assam
You're competing with the idea of leaving home
In Assam there's a further challenge: many students leave the state for college, heading to Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune or Kolkata. A college in Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat or Dibrugarh isn't just competing with the institution down the road. It's competing with a family's assumption that a good course means leaving home. Marketing needs to answer that directly, with accurate information about courses, faculty, facilities, affiliation, and outcomes the institution can document.
04Rules
False urgency and invented toppers now carry real risk
And there are rules. ASCI's guidelines for educational institutions prohibit guaranteeing marks, jobs, admissions or salary increases, bar numerical claims such as "100% placement", and require any affiliation or accreditation claim to be substantiated. Since November 2024, the Central Consumer Protection Authority's guidelines for the coaching sector ban false claims about ranks and selections, and require written consent before using a successful student's name or photo. Many institutions have seen agencies suggest "only 5 seats left" pop-ups and invented topper banners. Those tactics now carry real risk.
What's included
What's included
Eight parts, timed to your admission calendar.
Short videos of campus, labs, classrooms and hostels; faculty introductions; student-life content; and admission deadline reminders that state real dates rather than false urgency. Click-to-WhatsApp ads let parents ask questions directly, routed to your admission office with reply templates you approve.
A content calendar built around your academic year: admission windows, results, events, festivals such as Bihu, and alumni stories used with consent. Growthbees' team handles design, video editing, posting and community replies.
A complete Google Business Profile with courses listed, accurate office hours for the admission cell, and photos of the campus. Location and course pages on your website for the searches that matter to you, plus ethical review requests to current students and parents, without incentives.
Growthbees' website team builds course pages that answer the questions admission counsellors hear every day: eligibility, duration, affiliation or recognition details, fees structure (as much as you choose to publish), faculty, facilities, scholarships and the application process. Clear pages reduce repetitive phone queries and improve the quality of enquiries.
Web forms, WhatsApp chats and calls are tracked by campaign, and every enquiry goes to your admission team with its source. Where your team uses a spreadsheet or CRM, we connect enquiries to it and report which campaigns produced applications and admissions.
Students choosing professional and vocational courses compare eligibility, recognition and practical training before anything else. For nursing, paramedical, hotel management, IT and other skill-based institutes, we build course pages that name the recognising council or university, set out eligibility, explain clinical or practical training arrangements and describe hostel options, with every recognition claim backed by documents you provide. Search campaigns focus on course-and-location searches, and social content shows labs, practical sessions and training facilities rather than generic classroom stock images.
Online courses and edtech platforms sell to learners who may never visit a campus, so trust has to be built on the page: who teaches, what the learner receives, how certificates are issued and recognised, and what the refund policy is. We run search and social campaigns towards free trial classes or counselling calls. The CCPA's rules on misleading advertisements apply here just as they do to physical institutions, so claims about outcomes, certificates and refunds must match what the platform actually delivers.
Compliance, built in
Education marketing that stays within the rules
ASCI and the CCPA set clear limits for education advertising. These are the shortcuts we leave out, and what we do instead.
| Area | The shortcut | What we do instead | Rule behind it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outcome claims | Placement support or higher-study guidance described as a service you provide, not a guaranteed result | ASCI guidelines for educational institutions | |
| Numbers | Outcomes the institution can document | ASCI guidelines for educational institutions | |
| Affiliation | Claims only with the registration or affiliation details you provide | ASCI guidelines for educational institutions | |
| Students | Written consent first, and verifiable parental consent for students under 18 | CCPA coaching guidelines, 2024; DPDP Act | |
| Urgency | Real admission deadlines only |

What families ask
Questions your marketing should answer for families
Admission counsellors hear the same questions every season. When your website, ads and WhatsApp replies answer them clearly, enquiries become more serious and counsellors spend less time repeating the basics.
Is the course recognised?
Name the affiliating board, university or council, with the affiliation or registration number where one exists.
What does it cost in total?
Families want tuition, admission, hostel, transport and exam fees, and the payment schedule, in one place. You decide how much to publish, and we make it easy to find.
Is the hostel safe?
Parents sending a child from another district or state ask about wardens, security, meals and visiting rules.
Who teaches?
Faculty qualifications and experience, presented factually.
Are there scholarships?
Government and institutional scholarships, with eligibility and deadlines.
What support is there after the course?
Describe placement support or higher-study guidance as a service you provide, not as a guaranteed result.
Can we visit?
Campus visit timings, open days and directions, including from the nearest railway station or bus stand.
Which language is used in class?
This matters to students moving between English-medium and state-board schooling.

How our education marketing retainer works
Growthbees works on a monthly retainer. We don't publish a rate card. After a consultation, we send a written quote setting out exactly what is included. Many institutions increase activity during the admission season and scale back afterwards, and the quote can reflect that.
The main things that shape the quote
- 01The number of courses or campuses you promote
- 02The channels involved: Google search, Meta, WhatsApp, SEO and website
- 03The volume of content, including campus shoots and videos
- 04How closely enquiry tracking needs to connect with your admission records

Where we work
Where students choose to study
Our Tezpur office at Gharpara Chuburi sits in one of Assam's education towns, home to Tezpur University and a wide mix of schools and colleges, and it's where our work with Delhi Public School Tezpur is managed. Our Guwahati office on KK Bhatta Road, Chenikuthi, is close to institutions across the city, from Chandmari and Ulubari to Jalukbari and Panjabari. We work with institutions across Assam's districts, where state-board schools and colleges now work under the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), formed in September 2024 from SEBA and AHSEC. We also work with institutions in the other Northeast states and elsewhere in India.
Straight-line distances from Guwahati to Assam education towns and to Kolkata, where many students go.
8 questions, answered
Frequently asked questions
Can we advertise our placement or result figures?
You can share results that you can document, but not as guarantees. ASCI's guidelines for educational institutions prohibit guaranteeing jobs, marks, admissions or salary increases and bar numerical claims such as a blanket "100% placement". Any figure you publish should state what it measures, the batch or year, and how many students it covers, with evidence on file. For coaching centres, the CCPA's 2024 guidelines add further disclosure requirements. We only use figures your management approves in writing.
How do you generate admission enquiries without false urgency?
We time campaigns to your real admission calendar, promote actual deadlines, and answer the practical questions families ask about courses, fees, hostels and affiliation. Instead of invented "last few seats" messages, we use reminders with real dates and click-to-WhatsApp ads so parents can ask questions directly. ASCI treats false urgency in education advertising as a breach of its code.
Can we use student photos and topper names in ads?
Only with written consent. The CCPA's 2024 guidelines for coaching require written consent before using a successful candidate's name, photo or testimonial, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act requires verifiable parental consent to process a child's personal data. We collect and file consent before any student appears in your marketing.
Do you handle schools, colleges and coaching centres the same way?
No. Schools market mainly to parents around the start of the academic session, colleges speak to both students and parents around results and entrance timetables, and coaching centres work around batch launches under specific CCPA rules. We run a different content calendar, message and channel mix for each, and we have separate pages for schools and coaching institutes.
Which channels work for reaching students and parents?
It depends on the course and who decides. Students often discover institutions on Instagram and YouTube, while parents search on Google, check reviews and ask questions on WhatsApp or by phone. We usually combine search campaigns, social content and click-to-WhatsApp ads, then shift budget based on which channel produces enquiries that turn into applications.
Do you work with institutions outside Tezpur and Guwahati?
Yes. We work with schools, colleges and institutes across Assam's districts, in the other Northeast states and elsewhere in India. Our offices in Tezpur and Guwahati make campus visits and content shoots practical across much of Assam.
When should we start marketing for next year's admissions?
Start before admission forms are released, so there is time to update your Google Business Profile, course pages and enquiry tracking while things are quiet. Social content that shows campus life can run all year, while paid campaigns are concentrated around your real application windows. We agree the calendar with you during the strategy step.
How is education marketing priced?
Growthbees works on a monthly retainer quoted in writing after a consultation. The fee depends on the number of courses or campuses, the channels involved, content volume and the level of enquiry tracking. Activity can be planned to rise during your admission season. We don't publish a standard rate card.
