Marketing Agency for Coaching Institutes

Growthbees is a marketing agency for coaching institutes, with offices in Guwahati and Tezpur, Assam. We help coaching centres preparing students for NEET, JEE, APSC, UPSC, banking, SSC and other competitive exams fill each batch through batch-launch ads on Google, Instagram and Facebook, demo-class signup pages, WhatsApp follow-up, and clear course pages with faculty, schedule, fee and refund details. Every campaign follows the Central Consumer Protection Authority's 2024 guidelines for coaching advertisements and the Ministry of Education's 2024 coaching guidelines: no guaranteed ranks or selections, and result posts only with a student's written consent and full disclosure.

Coaching institutes we work with

  1. Apex Professional Academy

We publish figures only with the institute's written approval, and they describe marketing results (enquiries, cost, attendance), never student outcomes.

The problem

Why coaching marketing needs a rethink

  1. The old topper-banner formula is now a legal liability

For years, coaching marketing in India ran on a single formula: a banner of toppers' photos, a headline percentage of "selections", and a deadline that always seemed to be this week. That formula is now a legal liability. The Central Consumer Protection Authority's Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisement in Coaching Sector came into force on 13 November 2024. They bar false claims about ranks, selections, success rates and job security, and require written consent before a successful student's name, photo or testimonial is used, along with prominent disclosure of details such as the rank and the course the student took. The CCPA has since issued notices and penalties to coaching centres over their advertisements.

  2. New registration and enrolment rules

Earlier, in January 2024, the Ministry of Education issued Guidelines for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Centres, which states are expected to implement. They say coaching centres should not enrol students below 16 or before the secondary school examination, should not make misleading promises, and should not guarantee ranks or marks.

  3. Enquiries come in bursts, and many demos go unattended

The commercial problems haven't gone away either. Enquiries arrive in bursts around exam notifications and results, then dry up. Many enquiries come from students who are only comparing, and a large share of people who book a demo class never attend. Parents, who often pay the fees, want different information from the students who first click the ad. And students from districts across Assam now choose between travelling to Guwahati, joining a local centre, or taking an online batch from a national platform, so a coaching centre in Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat or Silchar competes with far more options than it did a few years ago.

  4. The institutes that grow market clearly

The institutes that grow in this environment are the ones that market clearly and honestly: what the course covers, who teaches it, when batches start, what it costs, what happens if a student leaves, and verifiable information about past students, shown the way the rules require.

What's included

What's included

Nine parts, planned backwards from each batch.

Most coaching enrolments cluster around batch start dates, so we plan campaigns backwards from each batch. Google search campaigns target exam and course searches ("NEET coaching in Guwahati", "APSC coaching Tezpur", "SSC CGL batch near me") within the districts your students come from. Instagram and Facebook campaigns promote the batch, the faculty and free demo classes. Budgets rise in the weeks before a batch and fall once it's full.

A demo class is the most important step between an ad and an enrolment. We build a short signup page for each demo session, send confirmation and reminder messages on WhatsApp to people who opt in, and track who attended. After the demo, your counsellors get the list of attendees with their source, so they can follow up while interest is high.

Growthbees' website team builds a page for every course or batch with the information students and parents compare: the syllabus covered, batch timings and duration, faculty names and qualifications, study material, mock test schedule, class size where you choose to publish it, fees, instalment options, and the refund policy. Clear course pages reduce time wasted on unsuitable enquiries and meet the CCPA's expectation that key course information isn't hidden.

Past students' achievements still matter to families, and they can be shared lawfully. We build a results page and result posts that show, for each student, the name and photo only with written consent, the exam, the rank or result, the year, the course they took with you, and whether that course was paid or free. We don't publish percentage selection claims or combine results in misleading ways.

Students and parents usually have questions before enrolling: fees, instalments, hostel or PG options near the centre, and whether they can switch batches. Click-to-WhatsApp ads route those chats to your counsellors with approved reply templates. Follow-up messages go only to people who opted in, with an easy way to stop.

Short YouTube and Instagram videos in which your faculty solve problems, explain concepts or share exam strategy show teaching quality far more convincingly than claims. We plan, film and edit this content, credit the teacher with their qualification, and use it in campaigns.

Students usually click the ad, but parents often make the final decision and pay the fees. We create parent-focused material: a clear fee and instalment page, information about safety, attendance tracking and how progress is shared, and short information sessions for parents before a batch starts. Parent questions on WhatsApp go to a counsellor who can discuss fees and schedules, not just course content. This reduces the drop-off between a student's enquiry and an actual enrolment.

A complete Google Business Profile for each centre, with courses, batch timings and photos of real classrooms, plus ethical review requests to current students and parents without incentives.

A report for each batch showing enquiries by channel, cost per enquiry, demo class bookings and attendance, and, where your office shares it, enrolments.

How our coaching marketing retainer works

Growthbees works on a monthly retainer. We don't publish a rate card. After a consultation, we send a written quote setting out exactly what is included. Because coaching demand follows batch launches and exam calendars, many institutes plan heavier activity before each batch, and the quote can reflect those cycles.

The main things that shape the quote

  1. 01The number of centres, courses and batches you promote
  2. 02The channels involved: Google search, Meta, WhatsApp, YouTube, SEO and website work
  3. 03The volume of video and creative production
  4. 04How closely reporting connects to your enrolment records

Where we work

Where students travel from for coaching

Students in Assam prepare for a wide range of exams: NEET and JEE, the APSC Combined Competitive Examination and other state recruitment exams, banking and SSC exams, and UPSC. Many travel from districts such as Nagaon, Barpeta, Nalbari, Darrang, Sonitpur and Lakhimpur to Guwahati for coaching, while others choose centres closer to home in Tezpur, Jorhat, Dibrugarh or Silchar, or join hybrid and online batches. Campaigns are planned around those real choices: district-level targeting for a Guwahati centre that draws outstation students, practical information about PG and hostel options near the centre, and online-batch campaigns across the Northeast and India where you teach online. We work from our Guwahati office on KK Bhatta Road, Chenikuthi, and our Tezpur office at Gharpara Chuburi.

8 questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Can we advertise our toppers and their ranks?

Yes, but only lawfully. The Central Consumer Protection Authority's 2024 guidelines for coaching advertisements require written consent before using a successful student's name, photo or testimonial, and prominent disclosure of details such as the rank and the course the student attended. Growthbees shows the exam, year, rank, course taken and whether it was paid, and publishes nothing without signed consent on file.

Can we claim a selection percentage in our ads?

We don't recommend it and don't create such ads. The CCPA's 2024 guidelines treat exaggerated or unsubstantiated claims about selections, ranks and success rates as misleading, and ASCI's education guidelines bar numerical guarantees such as "100% selection". Factual, individual results with proper disclosure are a safer and more credible way to show your track record.

Can coaching centres enrol students below 16?

The Ministry of Education's 2024 Guidelines for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Centres say coaching centres should not enrol students below 16 or before they complete the secondary school examination. States are responsible for implementing the guidelines, so check the position in your state with your legal adviser. Growthbees doesn't direct enrolment advertising at students below 16.

What should a coaching course page include?

The syllabus covered, batch start dates, timings and duration, faculty names and qualifications, study material and mock tests, fees and instalment options, and the refund policy. Clear course pages help students and parents compare honestly and reduce enquiries from people the course doesn't suit.

How do you increase demo class attendance?

We keep the signup page short, send a confirmation and a reminder on WhatsApp to people who opt in, share directions and what to bring, and schedule demos at times students can actually attend. After the demo, your counsellors receive the attendee list with each person's source so they can follow up quickly.

Do you run campaigns for online batches across India?

Yes. For institutes that teach online, we run campaigns across the Northeast and other states, with course pages that explain live-class timings, recordings, doubt-clearing support, fees and the refund policy. Targeting and ad copy are adjusted for students who will never visit your centre.

How do WhatsApp follow-ups stay compliant?

We message only people who have opted in through a form or by messaging you first. Messages identify the institute, stay relevant to the enquiry, and include an easy way to stop. Enquiry forms carry a clear purpose statement and consent checkbox, as the data protection rules notified in November 2025 require.

How is coaching institute marketing priced?

Growthbees works on a monthly retainer quoted in writing after a consultation. The fee depends on the number of centres and courses, the channels involved, video and creative volume, and reporting depth. Activity can be planned around your batch launches. We don't publish a standard rate card.
