Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14/10/2026. This policy explains what personal data Growthbees Private Limited ("Growthbees", "we", "us") collects through growthbees.in and when you contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with and the rights you have. We have written it in plain language. If anything is unclear, contact us using the details at the end.
Who we are
Growthbees Private Limited is a digital marketing company with offices at:
- 2nd Floor, Trinity Apartment, KK Bhatta Rd, Chenikuthi, Guwahati, Assam 781003
- Gharpara Chuburi, Tezpur, Assam 784001
For the personal data described in this policy, Growthbees is the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"): we decide why and how the data is used.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we collect through this website and when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email about our services. It doesn't cover data we process for our clients as part of their marketing, such as leads from their ad campaigns. That data is handled under our agreement with each client, and the client's own privacy policy applies to it.
The personal data we collect
When you fill in an enquiry form
Our forms ask for:
- your name
- your phone number
- your business name (optional)
- your city or town (optional)
- the services you're interested in (optional)
- your message (optional)
We also record the page you sent the form from and the date and time, so we know what you were asking about. You must tick a box to agree that we may contact you about your enquiry before the form can be sent.
When you contact us directly
If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we receive your phone number or email address, your name if you share it, and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you visit the website
Like almost every website, our hosting server automatically records technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These server logs are used to keep the website running and secure.
This website does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or tracking cookies, and it doesn't set cookies. Our fonts are stored on our own server, so loading a page doesn't send your details to a font provider.
Embedded videos
Some pages include YouTube videos. The video isn't loaded until you press play. When you do, the video is loaded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google's own privacy policy applies to what happens inside the video player.
Why we use your data
We use your personal data only to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about
- prepare proposals and quotes you've asked for
- provide services if you become a client, and manage our agreement with you
- keep the website secure and working
- meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records for clients
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use enquiry details to send you marketing messages unless you've separately agreed to receive them.
The basis for using your data
We use enquiry data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the box on our form or contact us yourself. We use server logs and records needed for legal compliance for the legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as keeping our systems secure and meeting legal obligations.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent stops us using your data for that purpose from then on. It doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Who we share your data with
We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run the website and our business:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes the server logs.
- Web3Forms, which receives what you type into our enquiry forms and emails it to us.
- Our email provider, which stores the enquiry emails we receive.
We may also disclose personal data when the law requires it, for example to a court or government authority acting within its legal powers.
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Where they do, we rely on the transfer being permitted under Indian law.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: we delete the enquiry details within a reasonable period after our conversation ends, unless you ask us to keep them for a future discussion.
- Client records: kept for the duration of our work together and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting and other laws require.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
How we protect your data
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Enquiry forms are protected against spam and harmful input, access to our email and hosting accounts is limited to the people who need it, and we keep our systems updated. No website or email system is completely secure, but we take reasonable security safeguards as the DPDP Act requires. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access: ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correction and completion: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, or update it.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data when it's no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Grievance redressal: complain to us about how we've handled your data, and receive a response.
- Nominate: name another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to do so.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at sujay@growthbees.in or write to either office. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We'll reply within the time the DPDP Act and its Rules require.
If you're not satisfied with our response to a grievance, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we'll delete them.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to other websites, such as our social media profiles, Google Maps and WhatsApp. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy doesn't cover them.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when we change how we handle personal data, for example if we add analytics to the website. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
